Nominate Someone

Nomination Requirements

Someone of any age diagnosed with a terminal illness and living in the US can be nominated by a friend, neighbor, family member, community member, or co-worker. Bucket Brigade requires a doctor's note confirming the existence of a life-threatening terminal illness and detailing the physical limitations and capabilities of the individual. The nominee must be in agreement with their nomination and final acceptance is determined by the ability of Bucket Brigade to recruit the required community and church support within a reasonable distance of the individual.

Once a candidate is accepted, Bucket Brigade provides the training, local fund raising opportunities and support, potential for additional scholarships, and empowers the community to grant the wish of the candidate or perform other acts of kindness to bring hope and care to the individual and his or her family. The community and supporting churches agree to abide by Bucket Brigade's values and mission of becoming the front line of service and support to the accepted individuals and their families through sensitivity, servitude, and long term love and support even after wishes are granted.
